  • Jack Pine and The Fire - Left To Our Own Devices

    http://www.jackpinefire.com

Jack Pine takes his name from a veritable rising phoenix of the forest, the tree made famous in a Tom Thompson painting. With his head in the Capital City and his heart in the wilderness of Lake Nipigon Ontario, Jack’s alt-folk songwriting points to the beauty within the wreck and the heart within the wretch while his mandolin plays furiously, then very softly. True Canadiana, maybe… But this is not your grandmother’s folk band.
